What a cutie
I love that things that drove her nuts - Castle not taking anything seriously (like this moment of him being silly in the precinct) - is what she now loves about him. Stark contrast to what she said about Josh… the things that drew her to him were the things that were driving her crazy. How I adore this show with things like this.
I just came across a gif set of Castle being a “9 year-old on a sugar rush”, and while I like mature Castle, I also like the childlike Castle that does the dorkiest things to make Beckett laugh. They used to drive her crazy, well I think they still do, but now they make her smile. Here’s to season 5 being more fun
His wild theories still annoy her at times and I hope that continues. One of my favorite moments of Cuffed was that little exchange of “Don’t say spy… Or mob hit…” and then he just still completely catches her off guard by coming off with an even sillier theory and she just glares. Makes me laugh every time. So I hope to see more of that in season 5 as well as you said Castle being a little more childlike and make her roll her eyes, but still smile at times too.
